Jess Keys, LPC, M.Ed., M.A.
Jess Keys is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice at Today Has Purpose, LLC, in Pittsburgh, PA, seeing clients both in-person and virtually. She holds an M.Ed. from Penn West University and an M.A. from California University of Pennsylvania. Her work is grounded in a psychodynamic and attachment-based approach, and integrates elements of CBT, DBT, and Existential Therapy to help clients understand not just what they feel, but why they feel it.
Jess works primarily with adults, professionals, and college students navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship conflict, burnout, depression, perfectionism, and self-esteem struggles. She places particular focus on the therapeutic relationship itself as a space for observing relational patterns in real time, and she welcomes clients exploring questions of identity, grief, and life transitions. She is allied with historically marginalized communities in her practice.
Before entering counseling, Jess spent over a decade as an educator, mentor, and consultant, working closely with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams. That background continues to inform her appreciation for the complexity of relationships and environments. She has presented at the Pennsylvania Counseling Association Conference on grief and loss, with a focus on miscarriage and the importance of compassionate support during pregnancy.
